Camperships

Every year the Detroit Kiwanis No. 1 club funds scholarships for summer camps serving children and youth. Supported by a generous donation by the Drevant Fund, these monies are distributed to camps so they may offer scholarships to attendees. Please note: we do not fund scholarships for individuals, only programs.

Apply for a Grant 

Please review the application form and the brief narrative that outlines the format for proposals. Forward your completed application via e-mail to the address noted below. The deadline for Summer 2024 proposals is 5:00 pm Monday, March 4, 2024. No late submissions will be accepted. You will be notified of our decision to fund your program no later than late May.
